Investment objective
A long-term objective.
An active approach.
The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation, with attention to downside risk through active portfolio management.
The strategy primarily invests in highly liquid broad-market ETFs and selected large-cap equities. Quantitative and market analysis support tactical rebalancing, while position sizes and allocations take account of liquidity, conditions, conviction and overall portfolio risk.
The fund may use covered calls and other hedging strategies for purposes including income generation, managing exposures and portfolio efficiency. It may also hold cash or short-term instruments where appropriate. These techniques involve their own risks and do not guarantee a positive return or limit losses to a predetermined amount.

Systematic analysis.
Human oversight.
Quantitative models are used in actual investment decisions, alongside macroeconomic, industry and fundamental research. Individual models are continually assessed and developed as information and market conditions change.
Model outputs are not implemented mechanically. Portfolio decisions remain subject to human review and the oversight and discretion of Spartan Fund Management Inc., the fund’s manager.
AI-related structural change is one research perspective. The fund does not have a target allocation to AI-related investments and is not required to make such investments.
